Bruce Salyers Obituary

David Bruce Salyers, age 70, passed away May 26, 2020, in Floyd County, Ky. Bruce was born August 25, 1948 and raised at Eastern, Ky. He graduated from Maytown High School. He obtained certificates for Auto Mechanics and Diesel Mechanics from Mayo Vocational School, he was a retired diesel mechanic.

Bruce was preceded in death by his Father, Hudson Salyers and Mother, Goldia Martin Salyers, Brother, Delbert Glen Salyers, Sister Brenda Salyers Newman.

Bruce is survived by: Two Sisters, Reba (Glenn) McClanan of Virginia Beach, VA., and Velinda Salyers of Houston, TX. Two Brothers, Keith Salyers of Lebanon,Ohio, and Colby Salyers of Eastern, KY., Two Nephews, Martin (Liz) McClanan of Portland, Or, and Glenn McClanan, Jr. (Julia) of New York City, and One Niece, Anne McClanan of Portland, OR. He is also survived by two grand nephews and three grand nieces.

Funeral services will be private with burial to follow in the Martin Cemetery, Eastern, KY.

With concerns for the safety and health of family and friends, there will be a Memorial Service scheduled at a later date.
