Brett Mattison Conn

            Brett Mattison Conn, age 55 of Betsy Layne, KY son of Darvene Conn, Betsy Layne, KY and the late Sally Layne Conn, passed away Monday, May 11 2026 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born March 28, 1971 in Pikeville, KY. He was a long time employee for CSX.

            Along with his father, he is survived by two sisters: Robin Franklin and Stacy (Rob) Conn both of Boone, NC; two nephews: Rudy (Wendy) Franklin and Bo (Michelle) Franklin; three great nieces: Kaelin, Leah and Madison Layne and long time girlfriend: Ashley Boyd and her daughter Chloe.

            A memorial visitation will take place Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Betsy Layne Church of Christ, Betsy Layne, KY.
