Brenda Faye (Isaacs) Akers

 Brenda Faye Akers, age 78, of Grethel, KY daughter of the late Earmel and Aggie Reynolds Isaacs, died Saturday, November 5, 2022 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born May 28, 1944 in Pikeville. Brenda was a homemaker and member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

   Survivors include one sister. Vicki Blazer, MI, one brother, Oney Isaacs, Teaberry, KY,  five grandchildren; Chyna Akers, Jacob Akers, Cody Akers, Johnny Akers, Justyn McGee, and three great grandchildren; Kory Smith, Victoria Smith and Axyle Akers.

   In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Kermit and Timmy Akers, six brothers; Bradley, Kenneth, Claude, Boge, Clyde and Larry Isaacs, and two sisters; Bonnie Miller and Sharon Booth.

   Funeral service for Brenda Faye Akers will be conducted Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Hollybush Cemetery, Teaberry, KY with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements. Visitation is from 6 PM until 10 PM Monday, and from 10 AM until 10 PM Tuesday at Hall Funeral Home.
