Bradis Childers "Brutis the DJ"

Bradis Eugene Childers, aka "Brutis the DJ", age 67, of Prestonsburg, KY,  passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024 at the Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY.  He was born July 11, 1957 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late John Forest and Fannie May Lafferty Childers.  He was a self employed DJ and worked for the Floyd County Board of Education.

He is survived by his brother; John Martin Childers, several cousins and friends.  He was loved by anyone that ever met him.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents Forest and Laura Childers and Bradis and Eunice Calhoun.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, September 7, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, burial will follow in the Richmond Memorial Cemetery, Prestonsburg, KY, visitation is after 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.

Serving as pallbearers will be Kern Patton, Keith Frasure, Austin Moore, Dalton Lewis, Mark Gayheart, Jessie Taylor, Justin Patton, Scotty Howell, Harold Johnson and Harold Setser.
