Bonita Ruth (Hinchman) Porter

Bonita Ruth Hinchman Porter, age 87 of Allen, KY, wife of Thomas Edison "Tom" Porter, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024 at her residence. She was born June 6, 1937 in Tram, KY a daughter of the late Virgil & Georgia Layne Hinchman. She was a member of the Allen Baptist Church.

            Along with her husband, she is survived by one son: Thomas Gregory "Greg" Porter (Jeannie), Lexington, KY; one daughter: Pamela Porter Hansford (Byron), Staffordsville, KY; one sister: Patricia DeRossett, Allen, KY; six grandchildren: Alexandria Hansford Brewer (Matthew), Amanda Katherine Hansford, Alivia Grace Hansford, Jonathan Thomas Hansford, Landon Thomas Porter (Alexandrea), Benjamin Ryan Porter (Grace) and one great grandchild: Simon Judah Porter.

            In addition to her parents, Bonita was preceded in death by four brothers: Clyde, Joe, Herbert and David Hinchman.

            Funeral Service will be conducted Thursday, August 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Dwayne Raines officiating. Burial will follow in the Grace Allen Cemetery, Allen, KY and visitation will be after 5:00 p.m. Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home.
