Bobby Glenn Lawson

  Bobby Glenn Lawson, age 79, of Drift, KY, husband of Doris Ann Ward Lawson, died Saturday, July 25, 2020 in the UK Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born June 27, 1941 in Drift, a son of the late Jack and Maxie Cornet Lawson. Bobby was a retired Engineer for the Kentucky State Highway (Transportation) Department in Pikeville, KY,  an Air Force Veteran, and Minister for the Salisbury United Methodist Church since 1986.

   He is survived by his wife, one son; Brian Glenn Lawson, Drift, three brothers; Danny "Kitt" Lawson, Paintsville, KY, Michael Dexter Lawson, Lackey, KY, Gregory Lawson, Drift, KY and one sister; Judy Carolyn Cantrell, Staffordsville, KY.

   In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Albert Ray Lawson and Jackie Daryl Lawson.

   On August 1, 2020 a celebration of the life of Bobby Lawson will be held in the Hall Funeral Home chapel at 2 PM. Visitation is from 12 noon until 2 PM Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin
