Bobby Sherman Dingus, age 69, of Martin, KY, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 at Heritage Hall, Big Stone Gap, VA. He was born September 15, 1955 in Martin, KY, a son of the late William "Crush" Dingus and Linda Stumbo Tussey. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Martin, KY, the John W. Hall Masonic Lodge, No. 950 F&AM and a retired engineer from CSX.
He is survived by his daughter; Kellie Dingus, Martin, KY, two brothers; Steve Tuttle and Larry Collins, both of Columbus, OH, two grandchildren; Hannah Dingus and Connor Dingus, one great grandchild; Jaden Kidd.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son; Bobby Sherman Dingus II, one daughter; Traci Dingus, one brother; Billy Dingus and one sister; Diana Spurlock.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Osborne and Joshua Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Highland Memorial Park, Staffordsville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday, with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
