Billie Lou (Yates) Stegall

Billie Lou Stegall, age 84, of Hi Hat, KY, widow of Joseph Stegall, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at her residence.  She was born September 5, 1939 in Wheelwright, KY, a daughter of the late Willie Amos and Siltinia Hall Yates.  She was of the Christian Faith and a homemaker.

She is survived by one son; Stan (Anita) Stegall, Teaberry, KY, four daughters; Norma Kay (Nick) Fairchild, Sitka, KY, Lisa Gail (Scott) Lambert, Hi Hat, KY, Debbie (Billy) Gibson, Morehead, KY and Gwen (Jimmy) Jones, Meally, KY, 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, two special friends; Michael Hall and Tabitha Lambert.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter; Billie Jo "BJ" Stegall, four brothers; Homer, Jack, Bobby and Donnie Yates, and five sisters; Eva, Hazel, Yvonne, Betty Sue and Lucille.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, February 4, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Little Nancy Old Regular Baptist Church, Hi Hat, with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Boyd Cemetery, Hi Hat, KY, visitation is after 5 p.m. Saturday at the church, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky
