Billie Joyce (Ferrell) Burke

       Billie Joyce Burke, age 76, of Martin, KY widow of Donnie T. Burke, died Saturday, November 15, 2025 in the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY. She was born July 10, 1949 in Martin, a daughter of the late Herbert and Mattie Sword Ferrell. Billie was a homemaker.

       She is survived by one son, Donnie (Traci) Burke, Langley, KY, three daughters;  Vanessa Burke Groneck, Bellevue, KY, Pamela Burke, Winchester, KY, Sabrina (Dr. Lee) Boyd, Allen, KY,  two sisters; Jeanette Ferrell Ladd, Cromona, KY, Sharon K. Ferrell Jarrell, Dana, KY, seven grandchildren; Cody Boyd, Sarah Boyd, Mary Babb, Colin Boyd, Molly Boyd, Braxton Burke, Teghan Burke, and two great grandchildren; Waylon and Ivy Akers.

    In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Ricky Ferrell, and four sisters; Terri Ferrell Hale, Jonnie B. Ferrell Post, Ilene Ferrell Bertrum, and Debbie Ferrell Slone.

    Funeral service for Billie Joyce Burke will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2025 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Dr. Lee Boyd officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is from 11 AM until 1 PM Saturday, November 22, 2205 at Hall Funeral Home.
