Belvra "Bev" Collins, age 64, of Prestonsburg, KY, passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence following a long battle of chronic illness and other health complications. He was born June 3, 1956, to the late Woodrow and Annie Belle Speares Collins of Endicott.
Belvra was a retired employee of the Kentucky-West Virginia Gas Company in which he served 34 years. He enjoyed trapping, hunting, shooting guns, watching western tv shows, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends who all knew him best as "Bev."
He is preceded in death by his parents and his sisters Shirley and Velvet Collins.
He leaves behind his daughter, Marie (Stephen) Howard, Stanton, KY; his fiancée, Phyllis Little, Prestonsburg, KY; and his grandchildren: Travis Tackett, Keira Tackett and Gabriel Naylor.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Cow Creek Freewill Baptist Church, with Nathan Lafferty, Bill Collins, Larry Patton and BJ Crider officiating. Burial will follow in the Collins Family Cemetery, Endicott, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday at the church, under the kind and professional care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
Serving as Pallbearers will be: Stephen Howard, Jacob Jervis, Jonathan Spears, Todd Keathley and Charlie Stephens Jr.
