Belinda Lee Halbert was born to Thomas and Gloria Jones on November 15, 1952. She went home to be with the Lord on October 2nd, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria, her father Thomas, and her brother Jeff Jones.
She leaves behind one daughter Greta (Rick) O’Bryan, two sons Christopher Lee Halbert, and Jeffery Kyle Halbert and her step mother and close friend, Julie Jones. 4 Grandchildren Grant Jenkins, Marlee Jenkins, Lexi O’Bryan, and Trey O’Bryan; along with several other friends and family.
Belinda had a love for her grandchildren and animals that was only rivaled by her love for sweets. She enjoyed Sunday mornings with her church family playing piano for many years. She was a member of Maytown First Baptist Church. She worked at the bank for many years, but the job she cherished was helping with her grandchildren. Ballgames, concession stands, in the gym, Nana was always there for her babies. Belinda will be dearly missed, forever loved, and never forgotten by many.
Visitation will be held on Friday 10/4/2024 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Maytown First Baptist Church. Visitation Saturday 10/5/2024 from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Maytown First Baptist Church.
Funeral service will be Sunday October 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. Maytown First Baptist Church performed by Brother Bob Varney. Burial will follow in the Flanery Family Cemetery, Warco, KY, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
