Barry Hopkins

Barry Hopkins, age 73, of Minnie, KY, husband of Patty Lynn Allen Hopkins, died Friday, September 27, 2024 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born August 16, 1951 in McDowell, KY a son of the late Paul Hopkins and June Stumbo Hopkins, Hi Hat, KY. Barry was a retired office manager for Marco Tire and attended the First Assembly of God, Martin, KY.

  He is survived by one brother, Gregory Hopkins, McDowell, KY, one sister; Debbie Ann (Morris) Tackett, Hi Hat, KY, and six grandchildren; Christian Damon Hopkins, Gavin Hopkins, Grace Haven Hopkins, Easton Dale Compton, Grayson Williamson and Kayzen Hopkins.

   In addition to his father he was preceded in death by two sons, Barry Christopher and Justin Brent Hopkins, and one sister-in-law; Deborah Hopkins.

   Funeral service for Barry Hopkins will be conducted Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ray Davis III officiating. Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY.

Visitation is from 6 PM until 10 PM Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
