Audrey Nelle (Stumbo) Gunnell

Audrey Nelle Gunnell, age 99, of Martin, KY, widow of Walter C. Gunnell, passed away Friday, October 28, 2022 at her residence.  She was born January 29, 1923 in Martin, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Kendall and Tina Martin Stumbo.  She was a retired teacher and a member of the Kentucky Retired Teachers Association.  

She is survived by two sons; Anthony Lyle Gunnell, Martin, KY and Winston J. (Anna) Gunnell, Prestonsburg, KY, one granddaughter; Ashley Nicole (Brock) Kidd.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one daughter, Jennie Denise Gunnell, and one brother; James Stumbo.

Funeral service will be conducted Monday, October 31, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark Tackett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Gunnell Family Cemetery, Printer, KY, visitation is from 6 until 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, under direction of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
