Alvin Clarke Osborne

Alvin Clarke Osborne, age 84, of Taylorsville, Kentucky returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 30, 2025. He was born on September 7, 1940, in Buckingham, Kentucky to the late James and Ruby Osborne. Alvin loved spending time with his family, climbing mountains in his younger days with his siblings and hunting with his dad. He had a funny sense of humor and always saw the best in people. He never met a stranger, and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Henry Osborne and Lenna Osborne and his best friend, Phillip Durham.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sister, Ruby Osborne; nephew, James Ellis Osborne, III; cousins, Janet Pack, Vonda Osborne, Donna Conway and Rose Connelly along with a host of other cousins, family and friends.

Funeral service will be conducted on Monday, April 7, 2025, at 7:00 pm in the chapel of Schoppenhorst, Underwood & Brooks Funeral Home (Preston Hwy. at Brooks Rd.). Interment in Buckingham Family Cemetery in Buckingham, Kentucky on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at 2:00 pm. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 1:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.
