Alice (Prater) Hall

Alice Prater Hall, age 81 of Hueysville, KY, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at the Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born March 29, 1938 in Manton, KY, a daughter of the late Willard and Julia Prater Prater. She was a retired nurse from Our Lady of the Way Martin.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Kerry David (Anita) Bailey, Calhoun, GA, Stewart (Melissa) Bailey, Hueysville, KY, Doug (Deb) Bailey, Langley, KY, Judy (Rick) McDaniels, Hippo, KY, Joan Gibson, Hueysville, KY, great niece and daughter at heart; Teresa Gibson, great niece and special caregiver; Traci Mosley and several great and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded her in death by her sister: Geneva Prater (Arnold) Bailey and nephews; Mike, Jerry and Jeffery Bailey.

Funeral service for Ms. Hall will be conducted on Sunday, November 10 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is Saturday after 6 PM at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
