Wanda F (Hicks) Hayes

Wanda F. Hayes, age 82, of Eastern, KY, wife of Billy R. Hayes, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at Highlands ARH, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born October 7, 1937 in Prestonsburg, KY, a daughter of the late Raymond and Virgie Ousley Hicks. She was a member of the Church of Christ and an Operations Officer at First Guaranty Bank, Martin, and retired as Vice President of US Bank Martin Branch location.       

 In addition to her husband, Billy, she is survived by one son: Dr. Stan (Krista) Hayes, Eastern, KY, two sisters; Edna M. Harner, Jackson, MI, Loyce (John) Kirk, Paintsville, KY, two grandchildren; Rachael C. Hayes and William S. Hayes, two nephews; Randy Harner, John C. Kirk, and three nieces; Teresa Zakrzewski, Paula Harner and Kim Kirk.

She was preceded in death by a niece, Shari Harner.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hayes will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, October 25 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Aaron Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
