Wanda Marie Baer, age 82, of Betsy Layne, KY, widow of Harold Baer, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. She was born February 25, 1936 in Wheelwright, KY, a daughter of the late Willie Robert and Lula Anderson Reed. She was a member of the Betsy Layne Church of Christ and a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughter; Darlene (Harry Dean) Irick, Betsy Layne, KY, two sisters; Wilma Gillespie, Ft. Pierce, FL and Carol Prince, Inverness, FL, six grandchildren; Robert Adam Baer, Jonathan Scott Irick, Matthew Jordan Irick, Brandon Christopher Irick, Morgan Paige Irick and James David Irick, five great grandchildren; Kaitlyn Irick, Mattison Irick, Sophie Silva, Makinley Irick and Memphis Irick.

In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by two sons; Harold Robert and David Lee Baer, one brother; Charles Reed and two sisters; Opal Roberts and Billie Auton.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
