Virginia Dare (Conley) Howard

              Virginia Dare Conley Howard, age 97, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of James Wesley Howard, passed away Saturday, September 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 14, 1920 in Jones Fork of Knott County, KY a daughter of the late Milton Hager and Martha Waddles Conley. She was a retired clerk for the Department of Agriculture.

             She is survived by two sons: Glenn Thomas Howard, Burbank, CA and Robert "Bobby" Doyle (Charlene) Howard, Winchester, KY; two daughters: Rose Howard (Phil) Price, Paintsville, KY and Alice Howard Perry, Lexington, KY; five grandchildren: Rachel Finley, Neal Howard, Chris Howard,  GT Howard and Noel Blake Price; four great grandchildren: Nate Finley, Adrian Blake Price, Gabriel Noel Price and Bella Marie Price.

             Mrs. Howard was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

             Visitation will be Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with a Celebration of Life Ceremony to take place at 6:00 pm. Burial will follow on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 in the Milt Conley Cemetery, Jones Fork, Knott County, KY.
