Vernon "Jim" Hall

Vernon "Jim" Hall, age 96, of McDowell, KY, husband of the late Anna Rae Martin Hall, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at his residence.  He was born December 31, 1921 in McDowell, KY, a son of the late Willie and Minnie Vanderpool Hall.  He was a retired postmaster and a self employed businessman.

He is survived by one son; James Vernon Hall, Amsterdam, The Netherlands and one sister; Ada Russo, Louisville, KY.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two brothers; Bobby Hall and William Edsel "Peco" Hall and one sister; Vada Reed Taylor.

Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, January 21, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY, visitation is from 11 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
