Tommy Woods

Tommy Woods, age 73 of Germantown, TN, formerly of Allen, KY, husband of Wanda Powell Woods, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the Methodist Hospital, Germantown, TN.  He was born April 9, 1945 in Martin, KY a son of the late Lee Woods and Florence Salyers Woods Bussey.  He was a retried police officer.

In addition to his wife Wanda, he is survived by two daughters; Lisa Woods O'Malley and Leah Woods, three brothers; Glenn Woods and Clyde Woods, Allen, KY and Larry Woods, Prestonsburg, KY, two sisters; Sharon Woods, Allen, KY and Lavaughna Lane, North Manchester, IN, step sons; Mark, Jeff and Matt Penny, step siblings; Johnny Bussey, Rodney Bussey, Karen Orouke, Judy Bussey and Toby Howard and 9 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; Bobby Lee and Ernest Woods, four sisters; Phyllis Jean Hurd, Alice Osborne, Aretta Woods and Loretta Woods and one step sister; Peggy Bussey.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, April 27, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Randy Woods officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
