Stephen Laven Hampton

        Stephen Laven Hampton 51, passed away 21 December 2018 at Cape Canaveral Hospital in Florida.  Stephen was born May 27, 1967 to Major (USAF) Steve Hampton(deceased) and Tommie Carol Laven Hampton.

        He is survived by his  sister Stephanie Hampton Whittinghill . He was the grandson of Tom and Bess Hampton, previously of Martin,KY and George and Euna Laven of Allen Ky, all deceased.  Stephen attended high school at Oak Ridge in Orlando, Fl and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in Hospitality Management..His career took him to many locations including Chicago, Philadelphia, Detroit, Atlanta, and Atlantic Beach NC.

       Visitation will be held at Hall's Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16 at 12:00 with services to follow at 2:00 PM, and interment immediately following at Davidson Memorial in Ivel, Ky next to his maternal grandparents. In leiu of flowers, donations to the Juvenile Diabetic Association are appreciated, since Stephen was a diabetic from age 5.
