Sidney Lee Boyd

Sidney Lee Boyd, age 72, of Dana, KY, Husband of Myrtle Beatrice Harvey Boyd, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at UK Medical Center, Lexington KY. He was Born April 30, 1945 in Dana, KY a son of the late Manual and Edna Mae Watson Boyd. He was a member of the New Salem Old Regular Baptist Church.

Along with his wife, he is survived by one son: Randall Lee Boyd, Wooten, KY; one daughter: Lora Lea (Brock) Boyd, Dana, KY; one brother: Hazie Boyd, Banner, KY; four sisters: Eula Boyd, Dana, KY, Judy Hopkins, Ypsilanti, MI, Julia Lawson and Gerita Bronkowski both of Edmonton, KY; five grandchildren: Tyler Brett Boyd, Logan Riley Boyd, Brody Lee Boyd, Landon Carter Boyd, Benjamin Brock Boyd and 2 step-grandchildren; Jonathan Brock Boyd and Shianna Paige Hamilton.

In addition to his parents, Sidney was preceded in death by five brothers: Aaron, Wilford, Billy, Nathaniel "Shan" and Samuel Boyd.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating. Burial will follow in the Boyd Family Cemetery, Dana, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 pm Sunday and all day Monday at Hall Funeral Home.
