Shelby Jean Conley

Shelby Jean Conley, age 81, of Hueysville, KY, widow of Morton "Sonny" Conley, passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Center, Hazard, KY.  She was born May 11, 1937 in Hueysville, KY, a daughter of the late Press and Lula Shepherd.  She was of the Baptist Faith and retired from the Floyd County Board of Education.

She is survived by her daughter; Kathy (Acie) Shepherd, Hueysville, KY, two brothers; Denver Shepherd and Eugene Shepherd, both of Hueysville, KY, two sisters; Maxine Crager and Juanita Prater, both of Hueysville, KY, two grandchildren; Tara Elizabeth (Greg) Morris and Kacey Marie Shepherd, four great grandchildren; Bryce, Alexa, Alaina, Landon.

She was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, with Randy Osborne and Blaine Depoy officiating.  Burial will follow in the Shepherd Family Cemetery, Hueysville, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
