Sharon Kaye (Hall) Roberts

Sharon Kaye Hall Roberts, age 70 of Hi Hat, KY, passed Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

Sharon was born April 12th, 1949 at Hi Hat, KY, to the parents of Albert Junior Hall and Hester Newman Hall.

She was a graduate of McDowell High School, McDowell, KY and Career Academy in Columbus, OH. She retired from the laboratory at the ARH Hospital in McDowell, KY.  She was a member of the Eastern Star Chapter #477, Wheelwright, KY. Sharon was of the Baptist faith.

On December 19th, 2006, she married Clarence Cecil Roberts. Sharon had no children, however she was a wonderful mother to Michelle (Chris) Thrailkill, Perrysburg, OH, Margaret (Thomas) Peterson, Millbury, OH and Mary Roberts. Sharon was a loving Grandmother to Montana and Christopher Thrailkill, Jordan Peterson and Colton Parsons.

Sharon was a precious sister of Ernestine  Hall, Hi Hat, KY and Barbara Ann Hall (Richard) Thomas of Munford, TN

She has one nephew, Rick Thomas of Apex, NC

Sharon was a daughter at heart of Mildred Dawson Mullins. She was also a sister at heart of the children of the Mullins and Dawson families.

Besides her parents, Junior and Hester, Sharon was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willard (Uncle Bud) and Leada Mitchell Newman and Melvin and Rose Caudill Hall.

Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, April 30th, 2019 at 11:00 am with Chuck Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery in hi Hat, Ky. Visitation is from 5 pm until 10 pm Sunday, April 28th and all-day Monday, April 29th at Hall Funeral Home.
