Sharon Kaye (Tackett) Perkins

Sharon Kaye Tackett Perkins, age 66, of Martin, KY, wife of Donnie G Perkins, passed away on Thursday, March 15, 2018 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikville, KY. She was born April 26, 1951 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Arthur and Beulah Mattingly Tackett. She was a member of  Salisbury Methodist Church and a retired nurse.

In addition to her husband, Donnie, she is survived by two sons: Mark Douglas (Evett) Perkins, Fruitland Park, FL and Matthew G. Perkins, Martin, KY, three sisters; Libby Thompson, Burdine, KY, Doris Little, Hi Hat, KY and Patty Lawson, Paintsville, KY, five grandchildren; Jordan Perkins, Sean Jackson, Brennon Perkins, Kylie Perkins and Aubree Perkins, three great grandchildren; Tyson and Adalyn Jackson and Jaydon Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Arthur Tackett, Jr. and Eddie Akers.

Funeral service for Sharon will be conducted on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation after 6 PM on Saturday, March 17 and all day Sunday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
