Sally Hotelling Obituary

Sally Marie Jones Hotelling, age 69 of Wayland, KY, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2019 at the Highlands ARH Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born September 23, 1950 in Lackey, KY, a daughter of the late Ola and Davane Collins Jones. She taught for thirty-three years in the the Floyd County School System, was a member of the National Educators Association and the Kentucky Educators Association.

She is survived by one son: Roger Hotelling Jr. (Trena), Eastern, KY; one daughter: Christine Hotelling, Wayland, KY; four brothers: Jim, Ernie, Larry & Ola Jones; six sisters: Judy Sampson, Tessie Webb, Mary McKinney, Ola Ellis, Wanda Vantu, Sharon Moore; four grandchildren: Chelsea (John Duncan), Adam, Sarah & Cierra Hotelling. She is also survived by Harrison Gibson III, who is like a son.

In addition to her parents, Sally was preceded in death by one brother: Bill Jones and one sister: Cordy Gilmer.

A memorial service will be conducted at a later date and announced by Hall Funeral Home.
