Robert Louis Tackett

Robert Louis Tackett, age 76, of Stanville, KY, husband of Janet Lalli Tackett, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born May 18, 1941 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Hampton and Mirty Nunnery Tackett.  He was a member of the St. Martha's Catholic Church, the Sons of the American Revolution and a retired coal operator.

In addition to his wife, Janet, he is survived by one son; Robert Christopher (Connie) Tackett, Stanville, KY, three daughters; Jennifer (Jerry) Flannery, Harold, KY, Meredith (Bill) Campbell, Stanville, KY and Nancy (Mike) Hovious, Lebanon, KY, one sister; Beatrice Tackett, Beaver, KY, six grandchildren; Jessica (Josh) Bzura, Jerrod (Jessica) Flannery, Connor Tackett, Matthew Tackett, James Williamson and Lara Cali Campbell, five great grandchildren; Jenna, Julia, Jocelyn, Jerrica and Raegan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers; Hasel, Azzle, Jay, Eurie and Aaron Tackett and three sisters; Jettie Tackett, Ocie Paige and Sylvia Tackett.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Father Bob Damron officiating.  Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
