Ramona Lucille (Demaree) Horne

Ramona Lucille Demaree Horne, age 73, of Prestonsburg, KY, devoted wife of 52 years to Seldon Horne, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her residence. She was born July 11, 1944 in Shelbyville, KY a daughter of  the late Stuart and Elizabeth Perkins Demaree. Ramona was a retired Payroll Clerk of 24 years for Branham and Baker Coal Company, and a member of the First Baptist Church-Irene Cole Memorial, Prestonsburg.

   She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Seldon;  one daughter, Kim (Joe) Wilder, Nicholasville, KY; and two loving grandchildren, Blake and Graham Wilder.

  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, James Lacy Horne, and one brother; Stuart Demaree Jr.

   Visitation for Ramona Lucille Demaree Horne will be Monday, April 23, from 6 until 9 PM at Hall Funeral Home. Funeral service will Tuesday, April 24 at 11 am at First Baptist Church-Irene Cole Memorial, Prestonsburg, KY with Steve Hopkins and Seth Carter officiating. Graveside service will be Wednesday, April 25 at 2 PM in the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KY, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
