Phillip Lowell Chaffins

Phillip Lowell Chaffins, age 68, of Prestonsburg, Ky, husband of the late Alice Perry Chaffins, passed away on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 in the Highlands ARH Regional Medical Center in Prestonsburg, Ky. He was born April 17th, 1951 in Martin, KY, a son of the late Norman and Louise Crisp Chaffins. He was a coal miner.

He is survived by two sons: Norman Henry (Debra) Chaffins of Sidney, Ky , Shawn Lee (Tina) Chaffins of Prestonsburg, Ky, One brother: Paul Chaffins of Salyersville, Ky, one sister: Delores Carpenter of Prestonsburg, Ky, sixteen grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by one son; Phillip Russell Chaffins and one sister; Carol Bowers

Funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, September 15th, 2019 at 1:00 pm in the Hall Funeral Home chapel with Bobby Carpenter officiating. Burial will follow in the H.L. Setser Family Cemetery in Prestonsburg, Ky. Visitation after 12:00 pm Saturday, September 14th, 2019 at Hall Funeral Home.
