Peggy Sharon Coleman

Peggy Sharon Coleman, age 66, of Lexington, formerly of Wayland, KY, passed away Sunday, December 1, 2019 at the Riverview Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY.  She was born March 4, 1953, one of eleven children born to the late Guy and Rusha Collins Coleman.

She was a wonderful person filled with love and laughter. Her family, friends and pets were her passion. She enjoyed watching the Lexington Thoroughblades play a hockey game more than watching the KY Wildcats basketball team. She loved music of all kinds and especially Springsteen and the Beatles. She seemed to celebrate life everyday. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. We find peace believing Peggy is now with her family in Heaven and is spreading her joy there.

Peggy is survived by four sisters; Mary McKean, Linda Florian, Priscilla Webb and Sandra Coleman, many nieces, and nephews whom she truly loved also survive.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers; Kelly Coleman, Keith Coleman and Phillip Coleman, three sisters; Betty Coleman, Phyllis Shepherd and Glenna Garland.

Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Atha Johnson officiating.  Visitation is from 11 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.  Entombment will follow at a later date at the Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, KY, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
