Otis R. Ousley, age 88, of Martin, KY, husband of Ocie Hamilton Ousley, passed away Friday, February 23, 2018 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY. He was born May 10, 1929 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late Perry and Millie Crager Ousley. He was a member of the Drift Pentecostal Church, a retired coal miner, a member of the UMWA, a 56 year member of the John W. Hall Masonic Lodge, No. 950 F&AM and a Kentucky Colonel.
In addition to his wife; Ocie, he is survived by one son, Otis (Rhonda) Ousley, Jr., Hueysville, KY, two daughters; Sherlene Hall, Wise, VA and Rita (Rodney) Tackett, Prestonsburg, KY, eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and five brothers; Leonard, Jimmy, Dennis, Columbus and Denver Ousley and three sisters; Alvie Elliott, Renis Ousley and Alma Ousley.
Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamilton Cemetery, Martin, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Sunday and all day Monday at the funeral home with a Masonic Service Monday at 7 p.m., under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
