Orville "Fat Boy" Frasure

Orville "Fat Boy" Frasure, age 92, of Grethel, husband of the late Josephine Newsome Frasure, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at his residence. He was born April 16, 1927 in Grethel, KY, a son of the late Melvin and Lizzie Newman Frasure. He was a Marine Veteran having served in WWII  and self-employed businessman.

He is survived by two sons; Randy Doug (Marketta) Frasure and Lynn Doyle (Ineze) Frasure, all of Grethel, KY, three grandchildren; Blake Douglas (Lyndsai) Frasure, Lyndsey Dawn Friley and Heather Dye, three great grandchildren; Olivia Dane, Noah Lucas Friley and Huck Wilder Frasure.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers: Augustine and Ottis Frasure and one sister; Verdie Newsome.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, July 4, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Effie Hall Newsom Cemetery, Grethel, visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
