Mike Shepherd

Larry Michael "Mike" Shepherd, age 44, of Stambaugh, KY, formerly of Hunter, husband of Amy Louise Banks Shepherd, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at his residence.  He was born March 14, 1975 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of Steve and Mary Marie Bray Shepherd of Printer.  He was a former coal miner.

In addition to his wife and parents he is survived by one daughter; LaMika Grace Shepherd, Prestonsburg, three step sons; Tyler Musick, Prestonsburg, Dyllan and Daulton Hayden, Stambaugh, one brother; Mark Shepherd, Murfreesboro, TN, three sisters; Tammy Meade and Tina Carr both of Allen and Frances Johnson, Martin, one grandson; Jackson Grey Musick and several nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by one daughter; Ashley Marie Case, two brothers; Robert and Steven Shepherd.

Funeral service will be conducted Friday, January 17, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Phillip Meade officiating.  Burial will follow in the Banks Family Cemetery, Stambaugh, KY, visitation is from 6 until 10 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
