Michael Dean Vance

            Michael Dean Vance, age 71 of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Leah Stewart Vance, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2019 at his residence. He was born June 29, 1948 in Wheelwright, KY a son of the late Turner Vance Jr. and Blanch Mitchell Vance. He was a member of the Rotary Club, a long time social worker for Mountain Comprehensive Care, was affiliated with Operation Unite and was a member and deacon of the Fitzpatrick First Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Leah Stewart Vance, Prestonsburg, KY; one son: Wesley Michael (Sarah) Vance, Allen, KY and one brother: Danny Clay (Sheilah) Vance, Melvin, KY.

            In addition to his parents, Michael was preceded in death by one brother: Roger Lee Vance.

            Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, July 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Tommy Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 PM Saturday at Hall Funeral Home.

           Pallbearers: Dave Woofter, Mark Woofter, Ralph Leslie, Paul Spradlin, Paul Lafferty, Joe Parker, Tim Newsome, Tyler Layne, Steve Dawson and Mike Calhoun.
