Maynard Hall

   Maynard Hall age, 81 of Dema, KY husband of Shelbia Jeane Hall, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY. He was born August 14, 1936 in Dema, KY, a son of the late Miles and Alta Layne Hall.

   Maynard was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend. He was born and raised in Knott County and owned Beaver Trucking Co until he retired. Many know him as a jack of all trades, spending time in his 'shops' quick to help out family or friends. His family will remember him for his unbelievable work ethic, endless sense of humor and being a fair weather UK fan. His kindness and respect was an example for all of us. He liked to hear Bridge Over Troubled Water on the piano - That's what he was to all of us and will be deeply missed. 

   Along with his wife, he is survived by one son: Maynard Brian Hall, Lexington, KY; three daughters: Stephanie Dawn (Doug) Cronk, Lexington, KY, Gina Cheryl (Doug) Wilkins, Simpsonville, KY, Cara Danielle (Nicholas) Lopez, Paducah, KY; four brothers: Charles "Bear" (Joan) Hall, Dema, KY, James Vernon Hall, Dema, KY, Jerry M. (Judy) Hall, Frankfort, KY, Garnis Ray (Salley) Hall, Shelby, OH, ; four sisters: Eleanor (Gene) Bettac, Shelby, OH, Christine (Leonard) Nickles, Dema, KY, Janice Bowman, Mansfield, OH, Priscilla (Roy) Huff, Dema, KY; five grandchildren: Tabatha (Jason) Caudill, Sabrina Hall, Emma Kirsten Wilkins, Lauren Caroline Wilkins, Gabrielle Maria Lopez and three great grandchildren.

   In addition to his parents, Maynard is preceded in death by two brothers: William Edgar Hall, Glenn Darrell Hall and one sister:  Fonda Kaye Sparkman.

   Funeral service will be conducted Saturday, November 18, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, KY with Curtie Hall officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY and visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Friday at Hall Funeral Home.
