Mabel Doris (Martin) Hall

Mabel Doris Martin Hall, age 78, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Melvin Ray Hall, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 in Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born April 14, 1940 in Dema, KY, a daughter of the late Wayne Martin, Sr. and Bertha Turner Martin. She was a homemaker and of the Old Regular Baptist faith.

She is survived by one son: Alvin Ray (Toby) Hall, Prestonsburg, KY, two brothers; Columbus Martin, Teaberry, KY and Ronald (Sylvia) Martin, Dema, KY,  two sisters; Shelby Jean Cassel, Yorkhaven, PA and  Brenda Faye (Robert) Jacobs, Pippa Passes, KY, one grandchild; Tanner Ray Hall and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers: Charles Edward, Donald, Ricky and Wayne Martin, Jr.

Funeral service for Mrs. Mabel Hall will be conducted on Saturday, June 2 at 11:00 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Jimmy Hall and Deaner Moore officiating. Burial will follow in Lucy Hall Cemetery, McDowell, KY. Visitation is 6 - 10 PM Thursday and all day Friday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
