Lola Jean Collins, age 82, of Stanville, KY, widow of Arnold Collins, passed away Monday, June 3, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 16, 1937 in Stanville, the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Osborne Stratton. She was a member of the Toms Creek Freewill Baptist Church, a member of the After Breast Cancer Support Group, Pikeville, KY and a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughter; Kathy (Darrell) Clark, Stanville, two sons; Greg (Lisa) Collins, Virgie, KY and Joey (Charlotte) Collins, Stanville, one brother; Edward (Anna Sue) Stratton Jr., Marysville, CA, nine grandchildren; Amanda (Jason) Salisbury, Jeremy (Stephania) Clark, Lydia Jordan (Jarrod) Thacker, Austin Lee (Felicia) Collins, Whitney (Jamie) Kirk, Chase Collins, Hunter Collins, Hanna Collins and Lamicha Johnson, ten great grandchildren; Macey, Elijah, Jacob, Piper, Harper, Ian, Silas, Finn, Lydia and Cheyenne.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one brother; Jack (Pat) Stratton and one grandson; Joseph Grant Collins.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Toms Creek Freewill Baptist Church, Ivel, with Chuck Ferguson and Randy Woods officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
