Leroy H. Keathley, age 73, of Beaver, KY, husband of Vivian Mitchell Keathley, died Monday, May 28, 2018 at his residence. He was born March 19, 1945 in Martin, KY a son of the late Ned and Polly Hall Keathley. He was a retired coal miner and U S Army veteran, a member of the NRA, UMWA, AARP, the Church of God of Prophecy, Ligon, KY, a Floyd County Deputy Sheriff and former member of the Mud Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Lee (Sharon) Keathley, Georgetown, KY, and two grandchildren; Benjamin Keathley and Taryn Kramer.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his parents at heart, Verdie and Frank Hamilton, and one half-brother, Richard Keathely.
Funeral service for Leroy H. Keathely will be conducted Friday, June 1, 2018 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ralph Hall and Doug Tackett officating. Burial will follow in the Crit Mitchell Cemetery, Beaver, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
