Laudy B (Prater) Reffett

Laudy B. Prater Reffett, age 85, of David, KY, widow of Carson Reffett, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 in the Prestonsburg Health Care Center, Prestonsburg, KY. She was born March 20,1934 in Blue River, KY, a daughter of the late Hiram and Kitty Bradley Prater. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith.

She is survived by one sister: Mary Coe, Wabash, IN, two half sisters; Orbie Jean Johnson, Melvin, KY, Lorene Schaneburger, Greentown, IN and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and  parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers: Will Tom, Johnny and Oakley Prater, four sisters; Jane Salmons, Cadge Slone, Sally Humble and Ann Bradford.

Funeral service for Mrs. Reffett will be conducted on Sunday, January 12 at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Malcolm Reffett Cemetery, Pitts Fork, Pyramid, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Friday and all day Saturday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
