John Mark Stephens Jr.

John Mark Stephens Jr., age 65, of Prestonsburg, KY, husband of Judy Hamilton Stephens, passed away Thursday, February 1, 2018 at his residence.  He was born February 24, 1952 in Charleston, WV a son of the late John Mark Stephens Sr. and Lona Schrader Stephens.  He was a Oil and Gas Operator, member of Zebulon Lodge No. 273 F&AM, Prestonsburg, KY and the Oleika Shrine, Lexington, KY.

In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by two sons; John Mark (Alexandra) Stephens III, Prestonsburg, KY and Nathaniel Scott Stephens, Richmond, KY, one sister; Debbie Raftery, Lexington, KY, step brother; Robert Staggs, Pikeville, KY and two step sisters; Melissa Staggs, Nashville, TN and Elizabeth Burchett, Prestonsburg, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Graveside service will be conducted Monday, February 5, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY, with burial to follow.  Visitation is from 4 until 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral home with Masonic Service Sunday at 7 p.m., under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
