John William Howell

John William Howell, age 57, of Beaver, KY, husband of the late Betty R. Howell, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.  He was born April 6, 1961 in Prestonsburg, KY, a son of the late Junior and Anzie Tackett Howell.  He attended the Freewill Baptist Church and was a retired coal miner.

He is survived by his son; Jonathan J. Howell, daughter; Wendy Johnson, brother; Evan Howell, four grandchildren; Bethany Johnson, Hailey Howell, Brooklynn Howell and Destiny Moore, one great grandchild; Oaklan Hall.

In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by one sister; Rotonda Howell and one grandson; Gregory Perry.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, November 8, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the River of Life Freewill Baptist Church, Teaberry, KY, with Doug Tackett and other Freewill Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fallen Angel Cemetery, Beaver, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
