Joetta Jean Adkins

Joetta Jean Jones Adkins, age 54, of Grethel, KY, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence.  She was born January 16, 1964 in Floyd County, KY, a daughter of the late Ezra and Verna Hamilton Jones.  She was a legal secretary.

She is survived by three daughters; Denise Jones, Shawna Newsome and LeighAnn Adkins, one brother; Travis Jones, one sister; Joanne Imes, two grandchildren; Warren Grant Newsome and Allison Adkins.

She was preceded in death by her husband and three brothers; Jimmy, Johnny and Ezra Jones Jr.

Memorial service will be conducted at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 17, 2018 at the Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, Teaberry, KY, with Travis Bentley officiating.  Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery, Hi Hat, KY, visitation is from 10 a.m. until time of service Sunday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
