Joann (Collins) Osborne

Joann Collins Osborne, age 86, of Langley, KY, wife of Billie E. Osborne, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2020 at her residence. She was born February 26, 1933 in Martin, KY, a daughter of the late Elza and Sally Marshall Collins. She was a self employed business woman and restaurant owner and a member of the Lackey Freewill Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband Billie, she is survived by four daughters: Lou Jean Martin, Topmost, KY, Barbara Cox, Garner, KY, Arlene (Donald) Kimberly, Mousie, KY, Patsy (Rowland) Goble, Hueysville, KY, one brother; R.J. Ratliff, Mt. Sterling, KY, one sister; Thelma Brown, Langley, KY, 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers: Clarence "Bud" Collins and Lewis "Tootsie" Collins, two sisters; Isabelle Mullins and Jane Dudley and one granddaughter; Michelle Slone.

Funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 16 at 12 noon in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Patton and Johnny Collins officiating. Burial will follow in the Gethsemane Gardens, Prestonsburg, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Tuesday and all day Wednesday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin.
