James Kermit Hall Jr.

James Kermit Hall Jr., age 65, of Grethel, KY, husband of Bertha Dean Vance Hall, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2019 at his residence.  He was born January 9, 1954 in Pikeville, KY, a son of the late James Kermit "Jim" and Geneva June Hamilton Hall.  He was a retired coal miner.

In addition to his wife, Bertha, he is survived by one son; Barry (Jennifer) Hall, Prestonsburg, KY, two brothers; Stewart (Debbie) Hall, Grethel, KY and Hugh Alan (Kathy) Hall, McDowell, KY, two sisters; Robin (Doug) Hamilton, Beaver, KY and Rita (Ernie) Moore, McDowell, KY, two grandchildren; Houston Keith Hall and Lauryn Hannah Hall.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one son; James Keith Hall.

Funeral service will be conducted Thursday, September 5, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with the Old Regular Baptist Ministers officiating.  Burial will follow in the James Kermit Hall Cemetery, Grethel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday at the funeral home, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
