Hettie (Garrett) Hunt

Hettie Garrett Hunt, age 84, of Prestonsburg, KY, widow of Arco Hunt, Sr. passed away on Monday, February 18, 2019 in Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg. She was born June 6, 1934 in Endicott, KY,  a daughter of the late Earl and Fannie Endicott Garrett. She was a member of  the Highland Ave Freewill Baptist Church and a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons: Arco (Nancy) Hunt, Jr., Prestonsburg, KY and John Earl (Margaret) Hunt, Allen, KY, two daughters; Katherine (Dave) Garrett, Prestonsburg and Rebial Reynolds, Allen, KY, one brother, Joe Henry Garrett, Endicott, KY, one sister; Rebial Lewis, Banner, KY, seven grandchildren; David Lee (Kristin) Garrett, Jason Garrett, Rebekah (Brian) Hunter, Kelly Hunt,  Kristy (Michael) Goble, John Greer (Megan) Hunt  and Haleigh Hunt, six great grandchildren; Nicholas Garrett, Allison Garrett, Barrett Hunter, Colton Goble, Baylee Goble, Brice Hunter and Brooks Hunt.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one son: Joe Eddie Hunt and one great granddaughter; Madison.

Funeral service for Mrs. Hunt will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 22 in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Jody Hackworth and Ted Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY. Visitation after 6:00 PM Wednesday and all day Thursday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
