Glema Gay Martin, Moore, age 79, of Langley, KY, wife of Budge Moore, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at her residence. She was born March 18, 1940 in Floyd County, a daughter of the late Garland and Nora Pratt Martin. She was a secretary for the Floyd County Board of Education at Wayland and Duff Elementary and a member of the Martin Branch Freewill Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, Budge, she is survived by three sons: Anthony (Sheila) Moore, Dan (Melissa) Moore and Ben (Terra) Moore, one daughter; Deidre (Thomas) Dillon, one brother; Chalmer Ike Martin three sisters; Daphne Moore, June Martin and Diana Purvis, 16 grandchildren; Shiayne Moore, Andrea Hall, Kasey Rae Moore, Tomi Gayle Dillon, Shandon Moore, Braden Moore, Brennan Moore, Ethan Wright, Matthew Combs, Dylan Combs, Nicholas Moore, Noah Moore, Adam Ramey, Nicholas Gray, Danny and Kelly Martin, seven great grandchildren; Ayden and Isaac Moore, Jacob Angel, Liam Hall, Layken Gray, Payton Martin and Sadie Gray, one daughter-in-law; Anita Moore.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one son: Dwayne Martin Moore, two brothers; Gaylord and Thomas E Martin and one sister; Fonda Joan Duff.
Funeral service for Mrs. Moore will be conducted on Saturday at 11 AM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel with Willie Duff and Carl Wayne Watkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Harry Lee Moore Cemetery, Langley, KY. Visitation is after 6 PM Thursday and all day Friday at Hall Funeral Home, Martin, KY.
