Gary Wayne Hall

Gary Wayne Hall, age 69, of Berea, KY, formerly of Betsy Layne, KY, son of the late John and Goldie Hall Hall, died Friday, April 6, 2018 in the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Lexington, KY. He was born March 3, 1949 in Prestonsburg, KY. Gary was a retired mechanic with civil services in Ft. Knox, a Vietnam Army Veteran and member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include one son, John Duane (Irene) Hall, Berea, KY, one brother; Edgar "Shorty" Hall, Harold, KY, and two grandchildren; Adam Reed and Lindsey Bowman.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his former wife, Jackie Lou Compton Hall, one son, David Wayne Hall, two brothers; Luther and Roy Hall, and two sisters; Maggie Adkins and Grace Ratliff.

Funeral service for Gary Wayne Hall will be conducted Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at 1 PM in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Tommy Spears officiating. Burial will follow in the Kenis Tackett Cemetery, Grethel, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.

Military Honors will be conducted by Chapter 169 DAV, Betsy Layne, Kentucky.
