Frankie Helene Lawson, age 77, of Pikeville, KY, wife of Elbert "Red" Lawson, passed away Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her residence. She was born April 17, 1941 in Mossy Bottom, Pikeville, KY, to the late Matt and Sarah Price Mullins. She was a member of the Mouth of Mud Church of Christ and a retired machinist from American Standard.
In addition to her husband; Red, she is survived by three sons; Glenn Lawson, Harold, KY, Ronnie Lawson, Pikeville, KY and William Dale (Angela) Lawson, Charleston, WV, one daughter; Rhonda Sue Bailey, Prestonsburg, KY, one sister; Josephine Primeaux, Capital, LA, six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers; Boone, Homer, Ralph, Iven and Matt Mullins Jr. and one sister; Julie Adkins.
Funeral service will be conducted Friday, May 4, 2018 at the Mouth of Mud Church of Christ, with Steve Case, Johnny Pugh and song leader Larry Case officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens, Ivel, KY, visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday and all day Thursday at the funeral home and after 12 noon Friday at the church, under the professional and dignified care of the Hall Funeral Home, Martin, Kentucky.
