Evie Ousley Thornsbury

Evie Ousley Thornsbury, age 92, of Martin, KY, widow of  George Thornsbury, died Friday, February 2, 2018 at her residence. She was born January 25,1926 in Martin, a daughter of the late James Lee and Nancy Jane Pitts Ousley. Eva was of the Old Regular Baptist Faith.

  Survivors include one son, Danny Lee (Linda) Thornsbury, River, KY, one brother; Gardis (Maudie) Ousley, Prestonsburg, KY, a daughter-in-law, Loretta Thornsbury, eight grandchildren; Tonya T. Allen, Crystal Dawn Music, Ginger M. Thornsbury, George M. Thornsbury, Christy Frazier, Daniel Lee Thornsbury, Aaron David Thornsbury and Amber Dawn Hutchinson.

   In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by one son; Verldon Adam Thornsbury,  five brothers: Adam, Vernon, Claude, James Elva and Edgel Rabon Ousley, and one sister; Lizzie Ousley.

   Funeral service for Eva Ousley Thornsbury will be conducted Monday, Februaruy 5, 2018 at 11 am in the Hall Funeral Home Chapel, Martin, with Ted Shannon officating. Burial will follow in the Lakeview Gardens, Staffordsville, KY, with the Hall Funeral Home caring for those arrangements.
