Elva (Reed) Prater

Elva Reed Prater, age 77, of Hippo, KY, wife of Haskle Prater, passed away Monday, September 2, 2019 at her residence.  She was born August 7, 1942 in Hippo, KY, a daughter of the late Goble and Rebecca Hughes Reed.  She was a member of the Hueysville Church of Christ and a homemaker.

In addition to her husband she is survived by one son; Darwin Grey (Crystal Gayle) Quesenberry, Pinetop, KY, four sisters; Thelma Stephens, Harold, KY, Gertrude Goble, Edith Maggard and Carol Sue Prater all of Hippo, KY, two grandchildren; Erika Sha and Shawn Travis Quesenberry, two great grandchildren; Peyton Hensley and Brayden Dye.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers; Roger, Carl, Jimmy Dean and Goble Reed Jr.

Memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
